TOLEDO -- People who deal in rare coins took the witness stand Tuesday to talk about their business dealings with Tom Noe, on trial for allegedly embezzling $2 million from the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation.

Tom Noe has pleaded not guilty to theft, forgery, money laundering and racketeering charges related to an ill-fated state coin investment. In court today, the prosecutors said it could take as many as 4 weeks to present their side of the case.

TOLEDO -- The trial of former coin dealer and Republican fund raiser Tom Noe hit the five-day mark Friday. Noe's former bookkeeper, Tom Peters, took the witness stand. He said as soon as the state gave Noe $25 million to invest, Noe paid off a bank debt and put money into his business.
