It seems a distant memory now, almost back there with Lindbergh crossing the Atlantic and Armstrong walking on the moon, but it happened. The Bears played in the Super Bowl. This year. That, and their subsequent decline, was the overwhelming choice of the SouthtownStar sports staff for the top sports story of 2007.
